An official voter petition for a ballot initiative to stop wasteful spending on failed programs is about to arrive in your mailbox. As soon as it arrives, it is important you open it, sign it and return it as soon as you can.

Californians pay some of the highest taxes in the country, but too often our money is wasted on programs that fail to deliver real results. The Transparency Act initiative requires public financial and performance audits of new taxes, so we get the transparency, accountability, and oversight we deserve.
